Meandering nozzle height

For the last few months the offset for the nozzle height on my A1 has been changing all by itself. About three months ago the nozzle started to scrape along the plate, extruder clicking away madly. I found out how to change the offset and after a bit of experimenting found that + 0.27 mm worked pretty well and it stayed like that for about a month and a half, then again all by itself started to get too high, thus making me reduce the offset over the period of a week or so.
So it’s been at the factory offset for a couple more weeks now and I was hoping that the quirk was over, but it started doing it again yesterday.
This morning I played with the nozzle heights and found that + 0.24 mm seems to work okay when printing the part but when printing the purge line the extruder stills clicks a fair bit.
That’s the first question, why would it click on the purge line then be fine for the print?
Second question, just why overall? How does the nozzle change its offset after bed levelling, etc? All the screw/bolts I can get to seem to be correctly torqued.

Here’s the set of offsets I’ve been using, the largest offset is the earliest, and as time went by the offset crept down again.

Probably the 4 screws of the hot end become loose.

I just had a look and indeed a couple of the bolts were a bit loose. I’ve tightened them and just started a print with zero offset and it seems to be perfect again.
Many thanks!

I have similar problem. Tightened the four screws and it was good for one print. Afterward, the nozzle is scraping the bed again. May I know how did you adjust the Z offset? I can’t find it anywhere in Bambu Studio.
