Missing Preset for new Bambu Filament TPU 85A

Bambu hast 2 new TPU Filaments:
85A and 90A.
For the 90A I can select a preset in Bambu Studio. A preset for 85A is missing.
I expected some changes for this very soft filament compared to 90A.
It would be very nice to have an optimized preset for 85A too.
Using a X1C.

noticed this too i assume it is because of the difficulty printing it lol.

Yeah, I am not seeing it either

I believe it is for .06 and .08 nozzles only. You will have to select those nozzles to see it listed as an available filament

This is correct, right after I posted my response I looked into it, found that only 0.8 and 0.6 mm nozzles are supported as well.

I ran into the same issue right after I read the article on how to print TPU and it recommended .4mm

I just printed pieces in every type of Bambu TPU and of course the TPU for AMS was the easiest as far as setup. Just load the AMS on my P2S and print away. Then for the 95A HF I printed an overhead spool holder, removed the glass, took the PTFE tube out of the hotend and directly fed the filament into it. Used the slicer settings for a 0.6HF nozzle and away I went.

Then the 90A threw me a curveball. There was no print profile for it and I wracked my brain trying to figure out why. As it turns out its because you’re not supposed to use High Flow nozzles with the 90A or 85A TPU.

I did anyways. Just told the printer it was 95A HF filament and printed exactly the same. The prints were all flawless. I will buy some regular nozzles as I have read that HF nozzles can clog, but I didn’t encounter any problems.

Also, the TPU for AMS is a way harder material than I thought it would be and the 90A is pretty hard too. It’s not until you get to the 90A that it becomes the material you expect TPU to be.

FOUND THE SOLUTION TO GETTING THE 85A PROFILE TO APPEAR IN FILAMENT LIST. So the trick is this. After you install your nozzle you MUST update your nozzle size in the settings on your PRINTER if its a p1s or a p1p for sure, not in bambu studio, in your print settings under ACCESSORIES for some reason, is where you will find nozzle size. After you change that you go to bambu studio in the main settings area and under project filaments click on the gear icon, check the box next to 85A and click CONFIRM. Congrats you have the profile available now. Thumbs up if this helped you.
