Missing promised reusable spools from qualify sale orders

On Monday I order another AMS and 21 refill filaments in the sale.

I chose refills due to the offer of one free reusable spool per four refill filaments ordered. This is capped at 5 free reusable spools per order.

My order of 21 refills qualifies for 5 reusable spools.

Yet I received none!

The qualifying rules are

  1. You get one reusable spool per 4 purchased filament refills
  2. Max of 5 reusable spools per order
  3. While stocks last

How I qualified.

  1. I ordered 21 filaments, that equates to 5 free reusable spools
  2. I did not exceed the maximum cap of 5 qualifying free spools, so I am entitled to all 5.
  3. Stocks still last as they are still being sold four days AFTER I placed my order.

I chose refills because I would receive the 5 reusable spools. Had this offer not existed, I would have purchased all as refills and I likely wouldn’t have purchased as many.

Has anyone else received their order that qualified for free useable spools and received them or did you also fail to receive them?

It appears that Bambu Lab have added an automated item to be added to baskets now for each qualifying order.

This did not occur for me and for several others I know about.

This means Bambu Lab knew there was a problem and decided not to rectify all orders already made, likely in the hopes those people would stay quiet and accept BL robbed them of their promise.

Oof, I bought like two days before the sale and by the time it arrived I was thinking maybe they threw in some spools because hey, I got scammed, well I scammed myself.

But no luck.

On the other hand if I had waited and then gotten hosed I would be a bit upset I think. Maybe they (the spools) went to find your missing AMS?

When you qualify store automatically will add the spools and they will appear in the cart at 0 price.
But there has been an error and they were not added.
On 10/21 I qualified for one spool and it was not added. Today I quantified for two more spools and they where correctly added to the cart.
I opened a ticket and BL will be sending the missing spool.

I have created a ticket, I have yet to receive a response.

I placed an order on Monday morning that includes multiple spools with 5 of them being refills. I actually expected it to show 1 free spool on the order summary, but it didn’t. No indication ever appeared that it would be included. My order hasn’t arrived yet as they decided to fulfill my order in Georgia from their warehouse in California, so it won’t get here until next week.

If the free spool isn’t included I am going to be quite irritated about it. Granted, if you’re buying filament anyway the spool is only $3 more, but it’s the principal. In less than 3 months I’ve spent more than $1000 on filament and spare parts purchased directly from Bambu. I understand - and they even promote - that they give free filament away when new ones come out (and a few have come out recently). They’ve never sent me one free thing at all, so if they try to cheat me out of my free $3 spool that I’m fully entitled to it’s going to make me very upset.

Didn’t realize the free spool was an option. I got one, and didn’t know why. However BBL is good for adding weird qualifiers to their freebies. In the past, they required the newsletter subscription. Is that on this one too?

Please do not fall into that trap.

How much it costs is irrelevant. Plus, in the U.K., it is much more expensive even during the sale than your $3.

They have screwed up and have not bothered to reach out to those affected despite knowing who they are.

I expect they will try the excuse “you should have known how we would eventually add it to the basket automatically,” despite not saying that is how it would occur or that it would occur automatically.

I would have ordered some filaments with spools if I knew they would fail to deliver the offer THEY MADE!

Mine were never added to the cart or show listed in the order, but they arrived today in a separate shipment along with mystery items for buying a printer. If they’ve shipped via a cheaper option it could be delayed from the rest of your order. Maybe give it a few days.

Did you get any notification from them about a second delivery?

Nope. Just happened to show up at the same time.

Their communications are rubbish.

Was wondering where my “Mystery Box” is. Just got my new P1S today. Would be nice of them to include tracking or something. That’s the advantage of making your own checkout system, rather than using Shopify. You can add stuff like these deals.

What if this question IS the mystery?

I will be ordering another P1S combo next week, I really hope they get all this rubbish out of the way by then.

I finally received my five missing reusable spools today.

Only after complaining in a ticket I raised and getting a different department involved p.

It arrived! They shipped it with a build-plate I had ordered in addition to my printer. Mine was a Maker’s Supply mystery box (ordered a P1S) and it included Electric Coffee WDT Tool Kit-K013 and Piano Music Box Winding Kit. I don’t drink coffee (I didn’t even know what the heck this thing was- I thought it might be a coffee warmer :joy:) but I’ll gladly use it for parts. The music box is cool, but I don’t really have projects in mind for it yet.

I just got my shipment and I think I received one more reusable spool than expected (but I should double check). The shipment box went into war I guess, but other than that everything was ok.

Wonna laugh? I tried to set up my first rusable spool and I missed the notches. No I have a beatiful matte white ball running around :frowning:

I thought it was every 5. No they shipped 3 spools for 14 refills, so it is correct
