Interesting. If we were to print the armor plate sides using the file on the Bambu website, all the panels were vertical in orientation. Or is the intent to break up the parts onto separate plates and reorientate them?
The armor plates are intended to print vertically, just the way Bambu designed them. They suck to print; way too wobbly which causes layer shift, and they don’t have good bed contact which can lead to losing the print after hours. I made a remix that holds them steady while printing but I still don’t like the way they look, the layer lines are so ugly.
I haven’t tried to print them yet, but I would agree with printing with the outside face down, to get that smooth look.
It’s really the only orientation you can print it in, unless you wanted a the bottom “inside” to be full of supports.
