I wish this was for the full size A1. I would buy it in a heartbeat… Although I would have to wait for it to be available in America.
Go to the top of this post to see the A1 project information.
I tried, but I can’t right now as I am on my school laptop, and they have that website blocked for some reason.
我看kickstarter上可以选发往中国,我先买了试试
same here! i also purchased a a1 mini because of this here
Read back through this whole post for details such as this.
Sketch that up and the physics involved, and share it here.
Anything more than a few minutes of thought would have you rethink the question.
It was merely a suggestion. I was trying to give the designer an idea for something the designer could design, and sell. That’s the whole point of us buying something somebody else made; we don’t have to design it, we pay for it to be designed by someone else.
pls throw us the 3mf file for the a1 automation pls
Check this out.
Question, could you make something that connects to the printer using the second AMS lite port, and instead of switching plates, just pushes everything off the plate? I feel like that would be cheaper to make, and that way the user wouldn’t have to worry about their plates being damaged, and the user wouldn’t have to buy a ton of plates.
Probably depends on how well certain stuff sticks.
Yeah, you’re probably right.
I know you already said that you are not currently making a version of this for the full size A1, but I’m still going to ask if you could make something like this for the A1 that is just an automatic print remover. Or, once the people working on the one for the full size A1 are done with it (and shipping it), could you upload/sell models for us to print that we could use to make the version of this for the A1 look better? I am just asking because I have seen the work of the people who made this for Prusa printers, and although their designs work well, they don’t look like they would look good next to a Bambu.
Designing such thing is not a problem. The problem is, you would not longer be interested in buying it after you have seen the price tag.
What makes you say that? How much more expensive would it be compared to the one you’re making right now, and why would it be so much more expensive? Also, the price for an X1 Carbon Combo is insane ($1500 USD) but I still want to buy it once I get enough money, so a high price may not make me loose interest.
Ask the JobOx designer sif they could design it “bambustyle” You can find the contact form on Jobox.tech.
It will cost $100 million, I require a 50% deposit.
in your previous post you described a functionality which only can be done by a robotic arm with a bunch of sensors. They are way more expensive then x1c.
I thought the same thing about automatically replacing a build plate before I saw your post, but now, it’s obvious that you don’t need a robotic to automatically replace a build plate. Really, for my idea, all you would need is a couple servo motors, a 3d printed arm, and some special GCODE to make the 3d printed arm come down after the plate has finished cooling, then the build plate moves back a little, and the arm rotates to the side causing the print to be swept off the build plate. Another way would be very similar to your swapmod, instead of replacing a build plate, it would just send the build plate all the way back, then either sweep everything backwards off the plate or push everything forwards off the plate. You could call it “The SweepMod” or “The PushMod”
