Looks like my yearning for an H2D needs to be tempered. There’s no way I’ll pay an extra $900 on a 40W combo because of this madness. I’d get more if I were to set fire to a 9-stack of c notes, at least I’ll get some warmth and light for a minute or so.
Looks like I’ll be waiting to buy the H2D. I did buy the AMS Pro 2 a couple of days ago for $369 and this morning it’s $409! This is frustrating!
My opinion is…now that Bambu has raised the price, the chances of that price coming back down are slim-to-none
I agree. I think most would not like it but will pay it. We’ll see! I hope it will come back down. I already have an X1C so I don’t “need” one but would “like” one.
I just bought an X1C combo and A1 (printer only) back in December. I paid $340 for the A1, now it’s $499. It’s a good printer, but it’s not a $500 printer.
This makes me happy about my 2nd printer purchase , off the used market. Originally I was torn, purchased an P1S combo from BBL and loved it so much, I had to get the X1C.
Well last week I found a local add for used X1C w/2 AMS, hub and some extras. They were asking $1750 and I offered $1200.
Ended up one of the AMS feeders were broken, so I repaired that with new motor from BBL ~$40.
The real question is how long after the tariffs go away will it take if ever for prices to go back down? Personally i will sit and wait. The HD2 has a few things i will let the pretarriff guys work through first. I already have x1cs so im not in a hurry. Just to be clear i wish no harm to bambu. This is just the geo political game. As an American I need to buy less of everything. Judging by how many lockit storages there are im not alone.
It’s very confusing right now but if you are buying in the US and the web page says ships from USA warehouse and the price is right, you are probably totally clear.
