No offline update for 01.01.0300

Offline users are denied access to 01.01.03.00

You cannot update the firmware to 01.01.03.00 in LAN mode. The firmware is not available as an offline download. Bambu support says that they have no intention of making it available offline. The next scheduled firmware update is in May.

I’ve asked why offline users are being denied access to a hotfix that they felt was important enough to publish.

I’m not happy about this at all.

Not siding with BL as I think they should release offline updates faster, I don’t understand why it’s not the case.

This said, do you really need that one in particular cause this is really a very minor update. I don’t have a P2S but I think I could live without it.

Bug Fixes

  1. Resolved a rare corner-case issue that could lead to print failure. This update further enhances overall system dependability and stability.

I get it. My rationale is that if it was important enough to develop and push via OTA, it must be important enough to apply.

It’s not just the P2 either, eg. H2D had a major update but still not available on their downloads page. Took months to get H2C fw published, and now they still don’t have any of the older versions to download (for downgrade when things to wrong). The dates on the d-loads are often wrong (not actual release dates). No way to verify downloads (file hashes). Totally unprofessional.

Not happy with this either.
