Hey all, just opened my new P1S and the second I load any file a continuous beep turns on and never shuts off. The print still begins to start but the error beep will drive you nuts.
The P1S doesn’t have a beeper…? What area is the beep coming from?
It was in the back area. I would equate it to an error beep, or like when the old Enders would have a Thermal runaway error or kill printer error.
It seems to have stopped now after the 3rd time. I had my cell phone out to record it, maybe it was shy
I am having the same issue. Several hundred print hours and never experienced this before, but relocated the printer to another facility and now all of the sudden it sounds like a piezo buzzer is going off every time I start a print.
The buzzer sound eventually goes away after intermittently enabling and disabling. It seems well correlated to the the heating elements trying to reach commanded temperature of either the nozzle, bed, or combination thereof.
Did you ever find a resolve to this?
Welcome to the forum.
As mentioned previously the P series doesn’t have an on board buzzer/beeper. I think I would verify that the power source is correctly wired and grounded.
So I’m my case I finally figured it out that the sound was actually coming from the UPS battery backup next to my printer. Apparently the load of 3 printers drawing power off it was exceeding it’s power capacity. I had to upgrade it.
