P1s filament cutting fail

If you would like me to change the filament, the black pin at the top left in the corner that moves towards the front of the printer is crooked and does not cut any filament, how is this possible?

I’m not really sure what the question is, can you clarify?

My filament dont want to cut off

Have you tried manual activating it to ensure the cutter is operating correctly? The filament cutter blade can be positioned/assembled incorrectly and this will cause the cutting motion to fail.

no, but the tool head does not reach far enough to reach the black pin in the photo with the red circle

The cutter activator arm on the printer side looks correct.

Your print head should be able to move to the front left hand corner as see below.

If it can’t remove any modifications you have added such a PTFE tube guides etc which would limit the drag chain movement.

I did replace the tube i cut it the same size

But hi can not go to the end off the printer

Sounds like your PTFE tube is too short.

Oke thx i will try a longer one tomorow

If you disconnect the PTFE tube from the head can the head reach the front left corner?

it can get there easily, except if he has to load or unload filament, it goes all the way back and then back 5mm so that it does not come onto the black pin to press the lever for

Mine looks the same

Are there any recent changes except for the PTFE tube that might prevent your printer from cutting the filament? Did you change the “Change Filament gcode” in the Slicer under Printer?

No i dint change it so idk why

Try checking in the upper corner for a piece of filament poop. The corner to check is the front left corner where the cutter is actuated by pressing into the side wall. there is something wedged in that corner probably making it so the cutter is not fully depressing. You have to look at it from the bottom angle to get to. I’ve had the same issue, and have helped a couple of others with the same solution.

I checkt it and i see no filament

Thank you for including the video, it is a much clearer picture of what is happening.

The movement before the filament cutter activation is not as it should be.

If you print the one of the models that shipped with the SD card does the cutter activate correctly? (available here)

What firmware version is your printer running and what version of Bambu Studio are you using?

I tried it and it doesn’t work, I have done the latest updates and a factory restart doesn’t work either

Probably time to contact support and open a ticket. Providing the video that you posted will help them understand what it happening.

Oke thx for the help i go try it
