My first post. Got the printer just before Xmas. Learning curve was steep, but I have most figured out. I have designed a couple of objects in tinkercad, and printed them ok. The dimensions of my design vs the printed object differ maybe 1% to 2%. I print a cylinder designed at 9.7mm dia prints at 9.6mm dia. Is this something I need to make allowance for in the cad design?
Hi,
Did you calibrate your filaments?
Regarding the design, as in another manufacturing process, it is necessary to consider parts tolerances, especially if they intend to be assembled.
I would leave the design correct and try adjusting these things in the slicer:
If this doesn’t help, I’d still leave the CAD design with correct dimensions, and scale in the slicer. There are some excellent posts on the subject somewhere on this forum IIRC.

Thank you I haven’t looked at those settings yet, but will. I was planning on making the interference adjusted in the cad, which I will do. And adjust this somewhat in the printer settings.
