You are a life saver!
I had the exact thing happen yesterday. My sequence of events was something like this,
1/ I swapped to a 0.8 nozzle
2/ Printed a project, towards the end I was notified that the front cover had fallen off.
3/ I reattached the cover, resumed the print, it was done so no issue.
4/ I printed another job from SD.
5/ Tried printing a third job but no matter what I did, the printer was stuck in the exact same loop as in the videos above. I checked all the rail for debris etc, as suggested by support.
Once I toggled off the “Auto resume after lost steps” function, the next print worked instantly.
To anyone who might encounter this issue in the future:
I had exactly the same weird behavior, tried everything: homing, recalibrating, cleaning, factory resetting. Nothing worked. Temporarily used the workaround described above, then had a response from support with a suggestion to try and reseat the SD card and restart the printer.
I have no idea how the ■■■■ an SD card can be related to this, it was working fine. But after i followed the suggestion - next print went fine, just normal home>purge>bed level>print, routine. No loop. Even with the “Auto resume after lost steps” selected.
