Well, I came across the dreaded extruder clog. Following the Wiki, I opened the extruder, removed the clog, and reinstalled everything. Now I get the error message 07ff-2000-0002-0004. I am using the AMS, but the printer seems to think I am using the external filament spool (see pic below). I think that maybe I damaged the filament sensor when fixing the extruder, which is what is causing the error. Any ideas? Many thanks! -Steven
Hopefully, this is something simple, try the basic stuff first.
Have you checked if there isn’t a broken filament between the printer and the AMS?
There may be a piece floating around in the tube itself.
You may wish to discount the PTFE from the printer (where the start of the green arrow is in your image) and poke some spare filament into the printer to see if there is any resistance before it reaches the head.
You can also perform the same test on the AMS to look for any free-floating filament sections.
Thanks. I checked, but I don’t think there is any broken filament between the printer and the AMS. It is weird that this new error did not start until after I cleared the clog in the extruder.
Thanks, I checked again and there was a small piece of filament that I missed the first time. I removed it and that error message is gone, but now, I am receiving the error that the hotend cooling fan is running too slow. I checked all the cables, and they are seated properly. Maybe I damaged the wiring. It’s just one problem after another.
