Getting my A1 was such an improvement, I’d spent a while with an Ender 3 Pro and got fed up with the constant bed levelling issues, I got the A1 and it transformed my printing. When the P2S came out and I saw what it was capable of and watched lots of glowing reviews I’d made my mind up that’s what I was getting next, then the U1 came out and I saw what it was capable of, initially I was still thinking P2S but more and more I began to wonder whether I’d regret not getting the U1 I was also (like I said in my original post) wondering whether I liked the way Bambu were going. After some of the replies on here I’m now thinking I should forget my issues with Bambu and just look at the printers. They have also made me think a lot harder about what I currently print and what I want to print in the future and I think the more “advanced” filaments aren’t really going to get used a lot by me so I think I’m going for the U1, I’ll be keeping the A1 for now anyway.
I wouldnt be worried about bambu i have an x2d and a H2D and theres no issues they make some of the best machines in the industry. As for the snap maker u1 thats the next unit im buying aswell but only because bambu doesnt build a multi color printer like the u1 and its fast downside is the p2s will out perform in single color speen so really depends on what you plan on doing with the machine.
I can understand why you’re looking at other options. The U1 seems interesting, and keeping the A1 gives you a chance to try something different without giving up what already works for you.
If you choose the U1, get a lid and panda breath. This is what I would and have done. Youll have something that can do 4 colors of 85a tpu all the way to 4 colors of PA. Or one print with tpu, abs, petg and a support fimanent. Tpu/abs is a pretty nice combo
