Package being returned to sender with no explanation

What the title says, no information just that Bambu requested a return to sender, been waiting a week for it already and once it arrived to my state it’s now being returned. Not sure if anyone else had this happen to them?

This just happened to me today. Package was already running late and made it to my state. Updated delivery for tomorrow. Checked it again a few minutes ago and saw the sender requested a return with no explanation.

This is my first time ordering from Bambu Lab and it’s turning into a disaster

Same here. Was supposed to receive my P1S yesterday but missed the original delivery. Today it was on the truck and about to be delivered before the delivery was blocked to return to sender. No communications from Bambu Lab yet which is ridiculous. Regretting missing the delivery yesterday XD

@ziegs Was this with UPS? I thought maybe that this could have been an issue with the label or something but the fact that it happened to you after a first attempt and during a second attempt is really suspicious

I had heard of one person that ordered a P1S and received an X1C.

I wonder if they are having and issue where someone is getting the wrong machines out and bambu caught it?

@nonfatyogurt19 definitely not a label issue, the guy got it all the way to my house but said it had been “intercepted” and when I checked UPS tracking it explicitly said “the sender has requested for the items return”. Still no communication from Bambu Lab about what’s going on.

@BrotherC Has this issue been looked into? Seems like it’s happening to several orders today. Was there some issue with UPS or perhaps the wrongs items were shipped out?

Yeah. Seems like they probably mis-shipped and are recalling the packages to correct. Their prerogative.

Even the guy who got X1Cs in place of his P1Ss, I don’t think he gets to keep them. He doesn’t have to tell them (though posting in the FB feed pretty much did), but if they realize their mistake, so long as Bambu pays for pickup and shipping, pretty sure they are within their rights to request the incorrectly shipped merchandise be returned.

No different than if the bank makes a mistake and deposits extra money in your account. It’s not yours to keep and if you spend it, you better hope the bank never notices or you’ll be forced to pay it back and maybe even be criminally prosecuted for theft.

Exact same thing happened to me. My P1S was supposed to be delivered today (California to Charlotte, NC) and out of nowhere got a return to sender as it was on the truck.

It’s very frustrating with no response to the ticket and no actual person to talk to at either Bambu Lab or UPS.

Same thing happened to me today! I ordered a P1S and it made it all the way to my local UPS today and I got an email like an hour later saying it’s being returned to sender. I emailed Bambu and no response. I’m so disappointed

I even went down to the UPS store to see if they would give it to me lol but they said they couldnt

@jarteaga918 Was yours a P1S as well? They all look similar… perhaps someone confused the black and white image on the outside of the cardboard box. haha

If that’s the case, that’s fine. It’s the lack of communication that causes the most frustration for me. A mass, blind-copy email to the affected parties would have been helpful. There’s always tomorrow

Yes a P1S, and i understand things happen all the time but the radio silence and the fact that there’s no actual way to contact bambu immediately is concerning

Definitely doesn’t bode well that CS has been silent on this.

I received a response to my ticket. It does appear there was a labelling error. They assured me they would expedite the correct printer to me. I hope everyone else here received a similar response

I received an email this morning apparently there was an error and they shipped the wrong product and said they will be sending a new printer soon. Hopefully they get all our new printers out asap for the inconvenience.

I just received my P1S but had to be home to sighn for it. This did not work for my schedule so i had UPS drop ship to one of there ups stores. Still had to show id. At the end of the day this is UPS issue

Delivery slated to be here tomorrow. I hope everyone else here has/had success in receiving theirs. It’s like we’re all in a special club, now. lol
