If you cut to parts it will allow you to apply fuzzy skin individually without losing orientation

I’d be very interested in this feature, or even better. The example of the textures of IdeaMaker and Formlabs, where you can apply textures directly into the slicer.

yes that would be a great feature!

Something like that would be, I think, very interesting .

there are lots of ways to apply a bump map in many different CAD softwares. one advantage to this concept is it is more parametric. It can create some massive files from relatively simple geometry.
One option is to model a modifier and import it as a modifier and use it to change fuzzy skin. A problem with this is it creates inner walls that are also fuzzy. Lets call it sub surface fuzzy. To see it you need to view the preview. sometimes this does not matter sometimes it does. This is a contributing factor to why fuzzy skin can take longer.

BS ver 2 now has paint on fuzzy skin. Apparently there is one set of setting for fuzzy skin for all paintings.
to change the settings turn fuzzy skin on, change the settings and turn FS back off. then the painted area has the new settings.
Don’t know if this is per object or print file.
But the feature I ask for is now there!
