Yes, temperature limits are the realm of FIRMWARE, BBL chooses to cap their consumer grade printers at 300, even though the hotends are capable of much much more…overall, Bambu hotends are completely dumb, meaning, there’s no tech that identifies the hotend to the machine, it doesn’t know a Revo Hotend from an AliExpress hotend… It just reads the thermistor for temp, and turns the heater on and off.
