A post was split to a new topic: Dinosaur Model
Wow, nice addition! I have often thought of releasing some model as a parametric version but porting to OpenSCAD would have been too much work.
First off, thanks for the initiative!
To test the system, I decided to create a Gridfinity bin generator, which is now available here: Parametric Model Maker - Gridfinity - Rack4all Ed Remixed by Jorge Rui MakerWorld: Download Free 3D Models.
The system is working perfectly, even allowing for the creation of secondary configurations. I’ve included both bins with and without dividers in the same project, and everything is functioning flawlessly. I understand that the mobile version currently doesn’t support creating these types of models, which might leave some users out.
I do have a question for you, in addition to congratulating you on the project! And I’m referring to the need for a specific 3rd-party API. I could try to coordinate with Autodesk to explore the possibility of a different integration, but that’s a topic I’d prefer not to discuss publicly…
Updated my first model where I already uploaded a f3d File. Works like a charm, thank you!
Works really well indeed.
I though unitless parameters weren’t working, but they actually works for me. Maybe they fixed?
Yes. We fixed it
Thanks for supporting us.
Awesome!
@PhaseworksCA I’m not sure if you were informed already about this fix ^
Pinging for good measure.
Thank you! and thank you @PineappleBun_BBL!
Good news!
Will Solidworks models be supported in the future?
Hey,
where can we create tickets to reports issues about PMM ?
Shoe demais!!! Sempre tive vontade de fazer uma publicação com parâmetros editaveis! So fiquei com uma duvida: será q tem como eu adicionar um parametro para qualquer usuário anexar um arquivo do tipo .svg para ser extrudado? Agradeço quem puder me ajudar!
I cannot figure out how to configure the customizer. The settings button is not there for me, I’ve tried multiple different browsers, disabled adblock, etc. but nothing.
Is there something extra that needs to be done in fusion when exporting the .f3d? I already have the parameters favorited, but I can’t make them sliders or set limits as described above.
Ahh, I missed that as a button, thank you!
@PineappleBun_BBL Would you be willing to share the source of the 3rd party API? My work has been wanting to do something like this for our internal CAD models. Thanks!
我尝试着找到这个链接,但是并没有,您的每个帖子让我打开都是个循环,么没有在上面找到任何的中文版链接
Great addition, in the near future I’ll certainly contribute with some Fusion customisable projects.
This is awesome.
I did just uplad three of my designs, it works really great.
Since iam heavy into boardgames i made theese a while back, and had no way to share the custom boxes in any way before that. The boxes has print in place lid, its only the deckbox you can add a magnet to the lid, not neede on the other ones.
Hardest task was the one that has a loose tray, that took some work to work out.
i also like the sliders so you can set the max and minimum size on the design. my designs has a minimum size due to the hinges.
my profile is sveininge79 on makerworld
so this is great. go have a look and make some.
Is it possible to do this with text? I want to have customizable text but you cannot have text on parameters in Fusion 360.
