worked for me too thanks for the quick summary
this works well so give it a try
I canât believe it, but it worked. Flip connector upside down, turn off machine, plug connector in correctly, restart machine. It was that easy! Thanks!
I was skeptical that this would work but this is what fixed it for me. Plugging in upside down, turning it off and returning it back to the correct way seems to do something.
Yes. For some reason always my testing or fixes works somehow for everyone.
Did the trick, thank you!
Less than a month with the P1S, and Iâve already hit this problem. Appreciate it, the fix worked!
I would also like to state that the reversal trick worked on my P1S also.
Amazing work community!
What the â â â â ! It worked!!! so weird. I was wondering why I was having such a terrible time printing silk pla! THANK YOU!!
Youâre welcome! I have taken apart and reassembled the hotend and extruder like 10 times at this point. Quick way to check if all stuff works after putting everything back and turning on printer: Turn on Part fan, and you should hear the fan. Now if it works, continue and turn off the part fan. Second step is to set hotend to 100c. This checks for the thermistor/heater, and the nozzle fan. You should see on app/studio/screen that nozzle temp increases, and you should hear a high pitched fan sound from the nozzle fan.
Had same issue - inverting the plug fixed it. Thanks!!
I know its an ancient post, but still useful in 2025!!!
This is what I did
- Switch off the printer
- wait 1 hour to cool down
- Open the magnetic case
- Remove the pin which connects to the fan and reconnected it and pressed a little firmer (donât go too hard)
switched on the printer and started working. Nothing more nothing less lol.
Fixed for me as well, I was tearing hair out at failed prints! Thank you!
Trick worked fine for me also. I didnât power down, just reversed the connector, pulled it out and installed it correctly and BINGO, working once again. Thanks again for the support and Bambu should put this trick on their support page as itâs a proven fix by many for this issue
I was starting a 17 hour print and the fan sounds just didnât seem right. Orca said the part fan was at 0% and the aux fan was at 90%. Cancelled the print. Plugged, unplugged, sprayed compressed air at connectors and to clean out the fan. Nothing. Found this post, and â that fixed it.
Craziness. Someone that understands this stuff have a theory? Since itâs a 4 wire fan, this would change the spin direction, yeah? but the PWM wire and the ⌠?rpm guage? wire would swap also. Is the lack of proper signals from those two wires resetting something?
Thank you so much, this worked so quickly!
Add me to the list too. Fixed for me.
Thank you so much. I was surprised, but this works!
