I sometimes pause long prints during the night on the A1 (because of noise/toxic fumes/fires?) But a simple pause (w/ 0° nozzle/bed) still keeps the motherboard fan on, so I tried to remove power for the first time but that results in a layer shift, not caused by warping or something moving the printer (It’s enclosed)
To reproduce:
- Print on Cool Plate SuperTack w/ 0° bed temp
- Add a pause in the slicer on layer change
- After the print is paused, remove power
- Restore power and resume printing
A simple pause doesn’t cause the layer shift, I can leave it paused for a long time and it would resume and complete a perfect quality print. Why removing power does? It’s so annoying! Must be a bug … right?
