Got my two 0.2mm Hotends for the H2D last week, but I can’t print anything with them.
On the right side it gives the error message that the extrusion motor is overloaded when loading the filament, on the left side it loads the filament and extrudes at least a little, but at the latest when printing starts it also gives the message that the extrusion motor is overloaded.
You can also hear the extruder rattling quietly for a short time before the error message appears.
Is there anything known about faulty 0.2mm hotends? I have no problems with 0.4mm and 0.6mm, they run perfectly. As soon as I put in the 0.2mm hotends, the same problems occur again.
Now the filament is so stuck in the extruder that it can no longer be unloaded and I have to disassemble the whole extruder.
Does anyone have the same problems or an idea for a solution?
I saw somebody was having problems with their H2D nozzle rattling and not making clean prints somebody in their comments suggested taking the nozzles out and tightening all the bolts in those spaces as if they come losose while being shipped or quality control just misses it it can cause problems idk how trustworthy it is but
One thing to check, especially if this is an old file from X1C days or such, is that the PLA filament’s long retraction is off. Default is off now for 0.2 H2D for a clean project.
I’m actually experiencing this exact same issues after trying to print with my 0.2mm nozzles for the first time. I can’t for the life of me get it to quit throwing the error, and it’s not clogged because it purges a bit/prints a bit and then randomly overloads.
I can’t even get it to do a nozzle offset calibration right now with the 0.2mm nozzles.
I finally threw my hands up and removed the 0.2mm nozzles and submitted a support ticket. I can’t even get it to perform a calibration without overloading the extruder motor.
Once I hear back from them with any ideas I’ll give your reduced purge speed a shot @3DTech. Thanks!
Support replied automatically today. I should just try cleaning the nozzles a few times.
If the problem persists, I should upload a video showing the process of the error occurring so that they can confirm it.
Tried a 0.2 print some weeks ago and it indeed purges way too much. Until this is fixed by Bambu I would honestly not recommend using the 0.2 mm nozzles.
Any know solution, I have exactly the same issue. Error about extrusion motor is overloaded. and extrusion related error, the quality of the prints its horrible.
I had to go back to my X1C for 0.2 printing.
I have the same problem and the same errors as you. I could not get any working print with 0.2 nozzles.
And “yes”, I did clean the nozzle lots of times but it is not the nozzle which is glogged, something different is wrong.
Same here with bambu filaments back to 0.4 nozzle for now… I got 1 print working using with sunlu pla meta (very fluid filament) but no luck with bambu pla
I did some testing with 0.2, 0.6 and 0.8 nozzles. The 0.2mm and 0.6mm came out perfect, photos below. The 0.8 needed some retraction tuning as it it has a bunch of zits.
