There are a few open source projects projects for Air Quality Sensors that use an ESP32. Not as easy as buying one, but its a fun project.
The big difference is that a lot of the cheaper ones will calculate parameters instead of measuring them directly. The more sensors the better.
Also make sure you are not drinking bourbon while trying to use it.
