PETG Translucent shows up as Generic PETG in Bambu Studio

I’ve loaded PETG Translucent into an AMS but it’s showing up as Generic PETG in Bambu Studio. In the “Handy” app though, it correctly indicates PETG Translucent.

Any idea why that might be? I’ve tried syncing and re-syncing and power cycling… but since Handy says the correct filament, is this a Bambu Studio issue? It says it’s fully up to date.

Because it is Basic, just translucent.
However it is selectable in filament settings.

Forgive the potato circle.

Edit, just noticed most of my filaments are deselected.

Oh… translucent is considered basic?

Hmm well, still though, I had Bambu PETG HF selected, and PETG Translucent checked in that dialog. Why is there a Translucent option if it’s not going to label it that in the UI?

I thought “Generic” is something different, like a 3rd party vendor’s filament. (As if it didn’t detect that it was a Bambu filament but it somehow knew it was PETG.)

I don’t think it caused a problem, but it’s just a little concerning that the labeling isn’t as clear as it could be, since it might be easy to mess up and use a wrong filament. I feel like there’s a bug in the software, or at least room for improvement.
