Poop occasionally in the print area?

If you are getting debris other than purge from the poop shoot you can look at changing your infill pattern. Try Gyroid out and see if there is any difference.

Almost universal. Mine leaves fine strands of different length. Usually at the bottom of the print. Comes from an incomplete wipe on the purge / change etc… on mine.

It’s not a fault, significant and hasn’t got stuck in a print yet so I’m trying to overcome my OCD and chill out - I’m on e of those people that occasionally peels purge of the edge of the build plate mid print. Shame! Shame! Shame!

the is a thing you can print to stop this. it’s a flap that fits over the door of the chute. it’s in maker world under a name i can’t remember.

edit I found the item Bambu X1 Carbon Purge Chute Extension Remixed by z3d___ - MakerWorld

I don’t remember if I printed exactly this one or a remix or what it was remixed from, but it’s worked 100% so far (since 2 months ago, so maybe 5-6 rolls of filament)

same problem often destroy my first layers because of poop on the first layer. i solved it with the ultimate nozzle wiper. its a silicone tube which can resist 300 degree. and it works like a charm never ever any problems since i installed it. and i have 3 x1c.

just happend here a minute ago i also watched it lol

thx man i need to check this out… it just happend here once on my fourth print but i can imagine if if i havent been here it would have estroyed the print… if not worse…

i will try this now…

We see sometimes this purge wiper has problems removing filament which is very short coming out of the nozzle, it poops then on the table or on my project

My first question is , how can i fix this
The other question is why is it doing this. During printing it it often traveling from project to purge wiper. I understand when a different filament has to be used , but during printing only with 1 color ( 1 type of filament)?. Why is it cleaning of whatever it is doing there(scraping of the filament from the nozzle)

Where did you find the 300c tubing?

Welcome to the forum! It looks like they haven’t been here in a while but I found the wiper project. It’s here:

The link to the tubing on the project page is Amazon Germany:and the Maker Supply store here:
