I’ve had my p2s for probably like 5 months now, I’ve spent like a hundred hours of printing just trying to get it printing decent quality, it’s producing very unacceptable results and nothing I do fixes it, I’ve tensioned everything and lubed everything, it’s not my filament it is dry and it is bambulabs pla, I’ve tried default settings and settings people have suggested, it seems a lot of people are having this issue with no luck getting it solved, bambulabs support provides 0 help with my issue. I just want my printer to work as intended and not print worse than my ender 3. I am on the latest firmware and my printer is on a very stable surface so I’m that’s not my issue.

Have you tried calibrating your filament on your printer?
Yes it was all manually calibrated as well as just trying the auto flow calibration
Well, the first pic seems to show a lot of residue on the plate while stringing on the second pic indicates a need for filament drying.
Best to scrub the plate well and dry the filament before calibrating the filament and trying again. Although you may want to run through the recommended maintenance and belt tightening procedures as well.
After that, if needed, you can adjust layer height and speed and use a painted seam (pic 1) and/or experiment with different top surface patterns or even ironing (pic 2).

Nope and nope, that’s not the bed in the first pic that’s my desk, filament is all thoroughly dried and good, belts are all tightened, and all settings have been set correctly, even the preloaded files print poorly like this, all maintenence has been done including lubing everything

Could you provide us a picture of your build plate?
Was the kingfisher done with auto- or manual calibration? Flow seems off and the strings, while more likely with silk, should not happen with a dried, well calibrated filament with correct settings.
It is all for a .4 nozzle, right?

We have one of the first Bambu Carbon models here, and even after years without servicing, it still prints well. My colleague has an A1, and it prints well. I bought a P2S, and the print quality is average. I’ve calibrated it repeatedly. I adjusted the belts. I dried the filaments to 8% moisture content. And yet the print quality is still comparable to that of the old Prusa MKS3.
