Price Adjustment Alert!

If you bought it on a credit card or using PayPal, update your ticket and tell them you are going to request a charge back if they do not honour their own offer.

Unfortunately, the customer service team have a poor reputation based entirely on their own actions.

They do often (not always) act when the above threat is mentioned though.

I would also (do both things) write up a text document with each qualifying point they say you must meet with your qualifying response next to it, showing that you meet each one.

Then, use their webchat service and paste the contents into the window.

Sometimes the webchat team, when faced with undeniable evidence acts on your behalf.

Again, sometimes.

I have no idea what goes through their minds when they randomly deny evidence, facts, and reality, but - too often they do.

Be persistent.

Hey MTO,

Thank you for your advice. Did the chat thing and explained my situation. They said my printer DID qualified for the rebate (gift card/whatever). Said to initiate a ticket. Told them I already did and gave them the ticket number. Waited. Got this:

“Looks like a system error, and the ticket team will handle it for you manually.”

We’ll see. If my previous post goes away, you’ll know they came through. If not, I may have to fall back to the “charge back” thing you suggested.

Copied and save the whole chat session for the record.

Man, I sure would like to order 2 more AMS 2 PROs with that refund!

Thanks again.

You are very welcome.

The way to get the gift card price adjustment after the automatic system rejects you is to file a support ticket for after ordering problems then wait until they get around to generating your gift card code.

Being a very squeaky wheel is the only way I have managed to break the logjam free and get actual service.

I have now gotten my gift card and I am thrilled with the H2D, but lord what an unnecessary cluster f*** at every level of management on this product release. Just the worst ever. There are plenty of other prosumer manufacturers with great products. As good as Bambu printers are, retail sales should be simple, butter smooth, and absolutely painless. This was a complicated nonfunctional joke of a sales and fulfillment process from start to finish. I won’t be buying another Bambu Lab printer and I will be shifting to aftermarket products, parts, and supplies to feed this one as the market comes up to speed.
