Print failure with a model already printed 21.500 times on Makerworld

Hi,

The print failed 3 times in a row at %68 each time which is already successfully printed 21.500 times.

So obviously there is a problem with my printer.

OTHER PHOTOS

It prints perfectly until that moment. then it starts hitting that same corner shown on the photos then throws it of off the plate.

Uploaded a short showing that moment

And there is a longer version where it shows the print is flawless up until that point

Thanks.

Without seeing your sliced model…I’ll take a guess that there might be a seam at the corner of that shelf that is causing your issue.

Your filament looks wet, and wet filament can cause these issues. Dry your filament.

Hi @lion7718,

Yes, you guessed it right, there is seam right starts right at there.

When I changed the seam position from “Aligned” to “Back”, it worked.

However, what makes me think that there is a problem with A1 is because the sliced model above prints successfully with P1S. And I still think so.

Do you by any chance have any idea as to why?

Thank you.

Different printers, different nozzles, different speeds…bed slingers sometimes need a different orientation.

Seam or not…that’s wet.

I’ve seen things like this attributed to a bad SD card…

I guess I need to complain about it to Bambu because I opened the spool just a day before I tried printing this model.

The interesting part is that the spool was pretty well vacuumed & sealed.

At the end of the day, the seam it is.

Even though it was obvious just by looking at where it fails, I just didn’t want to accept since it can print perfectly fine with P1S. And I still don’t, but it’s what its.

Thank you.

vacuumed & sealed ≠ dry filament

Yea I have to agree with this, I have had amazingly vacuum sealed filament in the clear bags that most filament comes in and it’s super brittle and wet. I have had the best experience with the filament that polymaker sends in the shiny bags, they seem to keep moisture out, unfortunately it seems like they only do it for PETG and up.

Came late to the topic, but i also printed that same model in my mini and that didn’t happen to me because i saw the profile settings and didn’t like it, so i changed some things and it went great. But that part where it failed, it has some issues. More than 20k prints does not mean that they all came out great. Many users just go there, rate it 5 stars and move to the next model, even if it’s not good.
