Hello! I might be doing a project for someone I know and there would be multiple colors on the model. Not sure how many colors yet, but at least 5 or more. I was wondering if there’s a way to swap the colors on the AMS Lite when using it for the next color that needs to be used while printing? I looked and I found that I could do a pause, but I don’t think it would work well in this case. The model would be a keychain where the colors are all on one layer. I have an A1 with AMS Lite.
You can manually edit your gcode to insert pauses wherever you want - midlayer, multiple per layer, whatever.
Failing that, get the new AMS hub from Bambu and get either an AMS-HT or one of the other AMS options.

I keep answering this, so here is one I prepared earlier.
BTW, the printer type doesn’t matter, it works on all Bambu Lab printers with a single AMS.
The only restriction is that no single layer can have more than the total number of AMS slots you have available in any one single layer.

@MalcTheOrcale Thank you! Oh, gotcha! I’ll have to see what I can do. Maybe the person won’t end up wanting more than 4 colors. Thank you for your help!

@CarbonForge Thank you! I didn’t know that! Yeah, I had thought about that doing that.
