Problem solved! New Problem P1P / Printing Qualitiy PETG / ABS / ASA

Hello all,

The next problem with my P1P. I print a self modelled item with several filaments. PETG, ABS and ASA and all prints failed, like you can see in the pictures. The buttom looks ok (my opinion), but the cylinder looks after some layers horrible. The first 10-15 layers are ok, but the rest is really bad. Same problem with all filaments. How can I solve it?

What I already made:
Calibration K Factor
Calibration Flow in the filament settings
The filament was dry

Has anybody an idea?

Thank you

I printed now a calibration tube. The same result. The first layers are ok, the rest not.

Check device tab on bambu slicer? is K value correct in each filament slot? (ext. spool, ams slots if applicable) - should be 0.02 or other sensible value, not 421950931590093 or similar

Ys, the k falue is correct 0,025.

It looks to me like an overextrusion issue that compounds as it gets higher up the build volume. what value do you have K calibrated to in the filament settings? what about flow? can you show a screenshot from filament settings? Additionally, it looks like grid infill was used, this infill crosses over itself and is known to cause the nozzle to scrape, that can cause the print to wobble and/or dislodge from build plate. suggest trying gyroid infill which does not cross over itself. perhaps combined with a brim as this item has a small build plate contact area.

this is a dumb question, but did you calibrate K factor and flow for each of those different materials? Because PLA, PETG, ASA, etc can have extremely different numbers

Hello, K factor is 0,02 - 0,03 and i check everything before I changed the filament. Also a change to gyriod don’t solve the problem.

A new test print

Anybody a tip, what I can do?

To me it looks like you are printing on top of a layer that is still molten and soft.

In the filament profile set ‘layer time’ for ‘max fan speed threshold’ higher and check ‘Slow printing down for better layer cooling’.

Problem solved! The connection of the fan loose contact and was disabled. I fixed it and all prints are ok now.
Thank you all for your support.

Problem solved. The K-value was not correct at all was my fault.
Now it goes ahead. Set everything from the beginning again. Thanks very much :+1:
