Problem with overhangs with TPU

Hi, I am trying to print TPU (overture) 230C/35C. My speed settings are shown below:

The adhesion to bed is very good, the problem starts a bit higher.

So it is very slow and I still get a problem with overhangs. Vertical walls are perfect.
Hotend fan 100%. Door closed. Top glass slightly opened.
I am not sure what I do wrong.

How’s the model supposed to look and can you show the filament panel with your settings?

I have Overture TPU and can easily print anything with the default Generic TPU profile.

Hi, thank you for the answer.

and

Increase extrusion temp by 10 to 240C;

Over than that, the filament profile looks good and the model appears to be very simple to print.
When was the last time you dried TPU? I’m not sure what you know, so I’ll say:
TPU absorbs a lot of moisture, way more than almost any other common FDM material. So dry it up and store it in a sealed container with desiccant before each print (vacuum-sealed bags are ideal for that).

Hi and thank you again. I will increase the temp with the next print and I will let you know if it helped or not.
yesterday I bought the TPU filament for the very first time ever and I bought also the dryer - picture is from yesterday , today it shows 32%

Gotcha. Yea, send it to a dryer first for at least 12 hr. SUNLU S2 dryer is good.

One of the flaws in that particular filament dryer is that it doesn’t do a very good job letting the moist air out and so you won’t see the humidity drop very much. Just cracking the lid open while it’s running will improve that.

I was printing the Thing (Addams family) in TPU and had huge problems with the overhangs. I ended up trying a reddit advice basically saying “The key with TPU is to aim for a consistent volumetric rate. Set line speeds high and tune with the max. volumetric speed”. And that worked wonders (even with a fairly high flow rate). I’m not quite sure why that helps!?

Is there any chance you could share the config file, please?
