Problems Printing Bambu Silver PLA

I’ve been testing various PLA filaments, both Bambu brand and 3rd party. I’ve had very good, consistent results for all of them except Bambu Basic Silver. The PLA will almost always fail at the 1st layer due to poor adherence. Even Benchy will not print. Any suggestions are welcome.

I also have consistent printing issues with BBL silver, which I don’t have with any other filament.
The Benchy in the printer will print fine, but every other item has at least 50% chance of failure.
Step 1 of calibration works fine, but step 2 fails consistently

The suggestion from Bambu was to wash the plate with soap and water (removing the glue). And that worked! But I don’t want to have to clean the plate every time I switch.
