Hello everyone,
I recently purchased a P2S to get started with 3D printing, which I received on Friday afternoon.
The setup went very well: unpacking was easy and the various calibrations went smoothly.
However, I have two BIG problems:
-
My touchscreen only works about one time out of ten. I have to restart it using the on/off button on the back of the printer.
-
I can’t print anything. The printer gets stuck right after the “Printing calibration line” step.
It loops through homing, then returns to the calibration line position and repeats this indefinitely.
I am still waiting for a response from Bambulab support. In the meantime, I have performed an “offline” firmware update and a reset, but this has not changed anything.
I also changed the filament just in case, but the problem remains.
Here is a video of the problem (from 4 min 15 sec) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7LRAnQBxX0w
I also tried unplugging/replugging the touchscreen, but that didn’t change anything either.
Have you ever had a similar experience?
Do you have any idea what might be causing these two problems?
Do you think Bambulab will accept a return due to a fault?
Thank you in advance for your answers. This is my first 3D printer, and I chose Bambulab for its ease of use, but it’s really not off to a good start…
