Ratings have little to no meaning anymore. When any critical ratings is removed for being “misinformation”, what is the point of ratings. How does this model print? That is what I want to know. The constant removal of any bad rating defeats the purpose. All ratings are now is giving someone a pat …

Comments, pictures and print history are irrelevant when models dont need printing to rate comments and pictures are easily flooded and hidden by “ what a great print" “ that push and hide genuine ratings into not seen , thats why i post to the community aswel as its profile page , i also do try an…

It makes a little bit of sense why they do that, although it is frustrating. If a model is so badly set up that you need to cancel it, maybe it does deserve a bad rating. Although there is the machine factor that covers 90 percent of failures. But you cant say that it is never the profiles fault. …

I am generalizing, not focusing on that specific model. But my point stands. Some people do not know how to make profiles. For example, [image] I cancelled this print because it obviously failed. I then rated the print to show that the profile is not good and point out the things that the desig…

I’m pretty new to all this and I’m still Struggling to understand it all. If I understand correctly I am supposed to down load a model and print it with out making any changes to the profile? And then I am supposed to rate this profile based on some criteria ? There is no way to rate the model it…

You are correct. Here are the guidelines… MakerWorld Rating Guidelines [image] Rusty35: There is no way to rate the model itself ? Boosts and Comments. There is no direct way.

Well Darn I have really been screwing up. Every model I have ever downloaded I immediately change the settings to what I know my printer likes. I dont feel like I have enough experience to tell someone that their print profile is bad. In that link half the guidelines are about the model and not a…

I wanted to pass by, but literally a minute ago I received another bad review, which will be deleted. I have one popular model that sometimes gets bad reviews. I report 99.9% of such reviews because all of them contain at most 5 words, not a single photo and many of them make it clear that user is …

[image] MiniMart: I was prompted at each step not to rate it at 3 because it might be my fault Didn’t know that MW gives out this advice when the printing runs into problems. Now if only people actually read! [image] VkvitV: I have one popular model that sometimes gets bad…
