This is an absolute beginner question, but how exactly do I remove the filament tube that’s attached to the extruder?
I want to try a cold pull since my nozzle seems to be clogged and won’t print, but all the videos I was able to find were from different series than the P1P and don’t seem to work for it.
I’ve seen people push a part down to pull it out, but no matter what I push, nothing gets ‘pushed down’, maybe I’m pushing the wrong parts??
I’d really love for someone to be able to help me, preference to photos or something so I can see exactly what to do if possible !

To remove the PTFE tube, carefully press and hold down on the black ring, then remove the PTFE tube by gently pulling it out. (It often helps to push in with the ptfe tube when you push down on the black ring.)

It’s really a pain by hand.
I really like this tool that makes it a lot easier.

So if the filament is till engaged, is it possible to remove tube? Or do you have cut filament?
Well yeah but if my printer is clogged, I can’t print out another tool, now can I?
I’m pressing down but it’s not budging
If it’s clogged how it usually clogs no tool will help you anyway.
If I can’t release the PTFE tube here then there is usually a clog in the extruder gear. You need to remove the 3or4 screws which hold the extruder gear assembly in while keeping the tube attached. This will allow you to move it out of the hotend and let you rotate it to access the back.
Remove the screws on the back of the assembly to expose the gear where your clog most likely is. Snip that clog and clear the path and you can then release the tube and rebuild.

Never mind. I just needed to remove the AMS upward to release some tension
