Replacement AMS pneumatic connector

The PTFE fitting on the back of the AMS failed overnight. There’s no mention in the Wiki of replacement specs, and there’s nothing in the spare parts store.

What do I need to order and where? I’m hoping Amazon has it because Bambu is at least a week…

It’s not a coupler, It’s this.

The AMS hub uses 5 of them. Strange they are not in the spare parts shop.

Im not at home to find out the part but if ypu follow the instructions linked you should be able to find put what fitting yiu need to look for.

I wonder if I can harvest the connectors from the coupler. Surely I’m not the first one who needed a replacement connector.

This link may or may not help you with that:

They don’t give a source for the part. I had a broken first stage feeder that I kept for parts. I was able to harvest the connector from that but still need to find replacements.

They do link it, it’s here: Replacing the pneumatic connector (PTFE Tube Coupler) | Bambu Lab Wiki - but the link is broken.

To make things easier for you, here’s a link to it: PTFE Tube Coupler | Bambu Lab USA Store

The coupler isn’t what is in the AMS. They are just small single connectors.

I’m not sure how else to help you, and I’m having a hard time understanding the point you’re trying to make - it’s almost like you didn’t read the wiki page I linked.

The Bambu store doesn’t sell non-threaded standalone pneumatic connectors, the store sells the PTFE tube coupler, which has 2 removable pneumatic connectors on each coupler.

The wiki says “All pneumatic connectors on the printer and AMS are of the same specification. Pneumatic connectors can be found in the following components: Hall switch, Buffer, and AMS internal filament hub.” … “If you have a PTFE tube coupler, you can use a shovel to pry out the pneumatic connector and then install it in the desired position.” In other words, the wiki is alluding to cannibalizing the pneumatic connectors from the PTFE tube coupler.

Best of luck on this.

Similar issue here. Will add the couplers to my next shopping cart as they seem to be made up of 2 small single connectors each as used on the feeder tube and the filament sensor.

I did read the Wiki. The magic word you just posted that I didn’t know: removable. I thought they were molded into the coupler. Now I know.
