I want that BL start selling samples of filament 50 or 100 g.
Some times just want to try a color or type so it would be great to be able to buy ,maybe 50 or 100 g.

They have started selling 250g samples, but rarely, and for china only.

None of those are Bambu Lab filaments, which was the request.
This is a good customer experience but, a likely difficult business strategy.
Customers get to try each filament, but BL is on the hook to duplicate every current filament in two sizes, thus means two or three for each colour.
- Refill - most, but not all
- With Spool - s9me, all higher spec
- Sample - assume no spool
The user would need to print spools to put the samples on. BL are notoriously poor at maintaining normal stock, with even basic colours not having both a refill and with spool option.
If they did them as starter packs with say 10 in each, or whatever best works for each category split up. PLA Basic has 30, PLA Matte has 25, and so on, this would mean they could create a single better revenue stream per pack.
Could you imagine if they could pull off offering them on spools like this?

I suspect they would provide them as thin refills without spools.
You may have noticed a few of the latest products now require you the purchaser to print parts for your printer.
Examples:
- A series hub
- TPU Feed unit
Why?
I suspect it means they can keep their SKUs lower, if they need to provide a version for every printer they sell (mounting arm screw placement for example) then it becomes a logistical and cost nightmare. Having the user print a printable part to match their needs or even multiple and move it around for those with multiple printers, makes sense.
With printable spools, like the one you mentioned, this would less users mix and match the filament samples within a print.
I think nr 3 is the easiest and cheapest for both BL and us.
No problem to respool it and the biggest win is good customer service for BL.
