i think its a bug or something suddenly all my machines got this message all quality cards i never use timelapse
You’re right, the constant writing of each frame is what’s doing it in general and lowering the life of the card in the P1S, A1 and any other Bambu printer with a low frame rate camera - It isn’t happening on the X1 due to the way it writes the file and it’s aux cpu/memory/board. If the P1 writes the file every frame it doesn’t need as much memory, they cheaped out at the expense of the user having shorter life on their SD card
However this does actually appear to be a bug, testing the read/write speed of the card says it’s what it should be
If the card is genuinely at the end of it’s life, replace it though, the affect on a print is as follows: the stream of data will have the same result as older printers printing files with layers bigger than it’s memory - big long pauses mid way through a layer creating blobs
I have the same issue one multiple printers. Replaced all the SD cards and it didn’t fix the problem. They suckered me into buying replacement AP boards as they seemed it must be defective.
Well after buying a few $60 replacement boards, guess what? Still get the same error. It’s clearly a software bug that’s been going on since 16.0.2
bambu’s getting pretty famous for nickel and diming folk so it sucks they convinced you to pay.
