Selected printer for slicing

Hi all,
Still having som problems with generating GCODE.
Studio reports that the selected pinter differs form the printer used to print the object.

Where in Studio can I set the correct printer?
When I press confirm the print wil commence flawlessly

Probably a good idea to mention you’re using the P1P with upgrade kit (i.e. per Upgraded P1P to P1S still reporting it is a P1P) … I still think there may be a bug in the firmware or software, and you should open a support ticket, as that is the only way you’ll get direct support from Bambu… this is only a community forum, so you’ll probably only get any help if someone else has done the same, had the same issue, and sees this post. :person_shrugging:

What happened when you used P1S as the print profile… would it not send? As I see there was an error message (not in English) on the send print job dialog in your other thread, but don’t know what it said. It isn’t the normal “wrong device” type warning, as the text is a much, much longer message… so wondering what it actually said, and if it is of some relevance here… i.e. this is what I get trying to send a P1S sliced job to my A1… the red text, and it simply won’t let me send.

Thanks for your response, when I use P1S as the printprofile, I get an error also.
Creating a support ticket is a very annoying task in my opinion.
Because my English isn’t that good to understand the text of the support tickets questions.
I use Google translate to write my postings.
So I leave is as it is, I can work with it.

Is it due to the printer profile you are trying to use ?

When i load a p1s printer i get an x1 profile as default

Use what printer you have, which is a P1P. You can’t convert a P1P to a P1S. You just have a P1P with an enclosure.
Don’t worry about the @BBL X1C, it is confusing and I fought this battle myself a while back. There is no @BBL P1S profile. It doesn’t exist.
I have a P1S and the X1C profile is what is what is used if you have a P1S. I can’t speak to a P1P because I do not have one but since you have a P1P, set up your printer as a P1P. P1P and P1S have different electronics.

I can only ask as i have neither

is the above image a custom profile for the p1p ? rather than a bambu profile from the settings ?

I have a P1P with enclosure and now I’ve sliced all object with the P1P printer profile.
And no errors occuring.
