Sharing Printers

I bought a p1s like a year ago, and my only thing to complain about is that there is no sharing of the printer across accounts. My friends and I all bought it together when it was 1k so I thought you could share it. I would like to know how we could suggest this to Bambu because this would be a great feature they could add.

I know it has been discussed a bit here: I still want to discuss this a bit. I am a PhD student in a robotics lab, previously we relied on Prusa, Creality, and Ultimaker. Multiple accounts on printer

One issue is that only 1 account can exist on the printer at a time. As a result, my partner cannot print a project remotely which is a huge shame. That’s fine if you’re one person but very inconvenient because the file needs to be sent to me to manually load under my account. This would be a very easy fix and a great sale feature.

You can. Make one account and use it as your login on everyone’s phones and computers.

Yup. Unfortunately, it means that either the account gets linked to one person’s email… and if you want to enable any of the more advanced account security features, you need a straight forward way to share any sort of 2factor authentication token.

Additionally, you end up seeing everyone’s “favorites” and “likes”, etc… but I presume since you all bought it together, you all like each other enough that no one is gonna be surprised by certain things…
