Shipping Update

Bambu Lab is using a third party warehousing company to ship these (4PX Express in Commerce, CA - they seem to ship for a ton of brands, and quite a few 3D printing/filament brands).

I think stuff like filament/accessories is stocked there, so it usually ships the same day or next day.

But I’m pretty sure the printers are getting tracking numbers/labels affixed in bulk while they are still in China and get bulk origin scanned there. These labels have a return address of Commerce, CA so UPS’ system thinks the printers are in the US waiting to be picked up, when they are really still in transit from China.

Then when the bulk shipment of printers finally gets to 4PX in the US a week later they get scanned again, UPS finally picks them up, and they start moving quickly. Seems like very large groups of people on the forum/reddit get big batches of printers all at once, and not sporadically.

Also would explain why the expected delivery dates seem to get pushed back 2 weeks at a time, waiting for the next batch to arrive stateside.

So personally I wouldn’t worry about it, as the “stuck” at origin phase seems to be pretty normal for all of us.

Congrats on the new printer. It’s worth the agonizing wait.
