Shipping Update

I have ordered an P1P on 27. 5. 2023 and still waiting for it to be even sent from DE warehouse. Is that alright, or should I be worried? Tomorow it is the 3. business day from order.

If the courier is FedEx I really would not be surprised if they haven’t picked it up yet.

It is shipping to CZ by DHL Paket and then by czech post.

I have never had a single issue with DHL in my life but then again I have not lived anywhere near Czechia in decades. Sorry I couldn’t answer that better friend.

I know for my order it took roughly 1 week to show up and the tracking information was updated almost daily, sometimes it took up to almost three days to see a change.

Update:
They either shipped to a wrong person or gave me a wrong shipping number (I asked the shipping company, they said my name did not match with the package).
They said the logistics team is reconfirming the cause of the problem and they will send the printer to me once the logistics issue is resolved. Might take another week I think. tbh very dispointing.

I did ask for some compencation, they said they will apply for a voucher. Still in progress, will update on this later

What a lousy customer service they have …while the box did not have any damaged, all the glass was broken and who knows what else is damaged …its obvious they haven’t done their homework in shipping. Then it takes them ā€œat least 3 days to respondā€ …that’s BS …they should have number we can call to get immediate service.

I have this real expensive paperweight right now as I can’t even get the bed support out as the glass filled up the hex head holes. This after waiting 14 days (though 10 we quoted).

As far as I can say, since their HQ are in Austin, TX …they can put one on a truck and drive down to Houston to replace my Piece of Sh*t they sent me … this is no way to run a railroad!

I did shipping for a completely unrelated industry. Helped a friend with his start up, I love BL, but they do not know how to package a printer to save their lives.

My friends business shipped high value delicate items. (Not electronics, think engineering instruments etc…) And we built a reputation for getting products to their location safely. We used any shipper we could until we got big enough to have a contract with one of the bigger ones.

Anyway, the BL printer boxes are much too thin for shipping (especially internationally). There are many many other issues but the box is kinda like the foundation, and it’s ā– ā– ā– ā– . Of all the things to skimp on and try to save a nickel with… Any money they saved has been eaten up in replacements and lost customers.

I ordered X1C combo on the 23rd May. It shipped out in 2 days and made it to DHL DE where it was then was returned to Bambu Lab the next day.

Ive been contacting them and waiting to get feed back on what happened and when they will ship it again. After 2 weeks of trying to follow up they have now stopped replying all together and I still don’t have any clue when and if the printer will ever arrive.

On their system it says delivered which they can’t explain.

Yeah that’s weird. I’ve noticed at least here in Alaska, that Bambu Tracking is pretty spot on.

Is the tracking information from the BL tracking service or DHL? The BL has a significant delay and only show partial information.
The return is strange; if DHL says delivered, someone received an X1CC.

Anyway, two weeks within the EU does not seem reasonable; therefore, something is completely wrong.
If I were in your shoes, I would file a complaint with Paypal or your credit card issuer. If it is Paypal, and you provide all the required info, you get a swift refund, and afterwards, you may decide to reorder the printer.

DHL advised on day 2 that it was returned to BL office. No reason was given for the return. However BL showed it was successfully delivered. So the issue is clearly on their side.

Agreed I orders extra items and they came separately but only took 4 days.

I’ve reached out to BL for the 4th time now. If nothing in the next 24hrs I will contact the bank for a refund/clawback

It is an unpleasant situation. I hope that you can solve it soon.

BTW did they reply to any of your contacts, and if so, did they explain the reason for returning to their facilities? What most surprises me is the absence of communication or will to solve. Considering the EU commercial protective laws, I am unaware of any company not trying to satisfy the client.

Edit: I have posted the update lower down but here it is again.

After getting in touch with the team on here they have gone above and beyond to help me and rectify the issue. Which in hindsight was a collection mistake from myself and them.

Notes to take away. Give them roughly 5 days to respond before contacting again and again as I did. This causes issues where it creates new ticket numbers on their side.

From BL side the original ticket was closed/lost due to my repetition in contact attempts.

They have worked with me to figure out the issues and send another printer to me. It arrived in under a week and they really made me feel welcomed to their community.

I sent 3 general enquiries and they eventually responded. Stating that they looking into it.

When replying directly to their email I was told they looking into it and will let me know.
After another week I sent another follow up and the response was that logistics team is looking into it. That’s all they have being willing to say.

Now week 2 and they don’t reply at all now when asking for an update or even a refund.

It’s sad as they really give the impression that they don’t care about the community.

5 weeks later, they still have not sent the printer to me. angry af.

I would fill out a refund request and reorder and reorder it.
Did you pay with Paypal? If so, the refund process is quite simple. I cannot be precise for all credit card issues, but for most is also straightforward.

Update:
They finally said they are going to ship the printer immediately. This is the 6th week. However still no shipping info.

They give me a $25 voucher although my lost is wayyyy higher than this lol.

Will see how long it takes to ship a printer to a place that is only 50km away from China’s warehouse.

50 km? it would be easier to pick it up at the warehouse.

My thoughts exactly. I’m not sure how they do things in China but I’d imagine they would let you pick up… But, I don’t know much about China.

i was giong to buy a bl printer but looking at the problems with shipping i think i will give it a miss
i don’t want the hassle
