So sick of this $3,000 X1C it's ridiculous

I disagree. I’ve had a few issues and support has been quite helpful. It does take a little time, depending on the issue, to get a response and resolution but I have been satisfied with my interactions with support.

Yep. My printer connects perfectly to my Deco Mesh Wi-Fi system, as well (which has a shared SSID for both 2.4 and 5Ghz).

They aren’t replacing it at your expense. They’re performing an advance exchange. It’s a pretty standard way to get a replacement product to an individual quickly, while ensuring you return your defective one.

What’s not? As a systems engineer, I am keen to know what you are referring to.

I doubt that they do this to trick anyone, but it would be good to make the AMS supported filaments more obvious.

Yea, let me guess, barely used, those of us that gave up, new, those flocking to defend bambu.

Maybe but repated on the A1.

There are 3 main topics (because speed can`t no longer increase and have also been caught up by the others - XL also solfed already thure others). If they haven’t noticed it in this forum, then you can no longer help them.

So the 3 main topics are: XL, maintenance and AMS - the last will get properly the maintopic for 2024. 5 are on the way, 2 already confirmed that they have managed TPU. One of this two color changers is based on a dual exdruder. So without change, in the middel of 2024 the AMS from Bambulab will be the only one that is not called Multi Color but also the one that handle the smallest amount of materials.

Of course, there are already at least 3 alternative color changing systems on the market, but they still belong to the slowly outdated and immature generation or are or are in a different price league…

And that Bambulab likes to exaggerate a bit with marketing, ok - maybe just my impression but generally speaking, these are always the companies that lose the long race.

I normally just use Reddit. Only recently have I started to browse the official forum. But I’ve had my X1C for nearly a year.

I will buy that problematic printer and AMS from you for $400, plus shipping. : )

I agree with you, even with small amounts per sale you can make a lot of money over a weekend. 2000-3000 USD is possible quickly, even by amounts like 10-15 USD per sale. But just by selling it at a stand at the weekend. If you still have to ship it by this amount, then you’re starving and you certainly don’t have time for a forum anymore. Then you have to search until you find the next step to get your business to the next level… which may not be 3D printing but a product that you can get and sell more quickly, through suppliers were you can grow with.

Since “a lot of money” is a very relative story that we don’t need to discuss here, however, if you can do a significant contribution to your livelihood with it, that’s actually a very good thing.

But don’t forget, the topic was started by someone who expected something and didn’t get what he expected. And the amount can be very important to him - and this you need to respect as well.

However, it will take a little reason for me to register in a forum. I never thought that this would ever happen again, forums are something of the past… But I agree with you on one thing, there is a lot of money in 3D printing and as soon as I solve the problem for myself, I’m gone…

Predictably my post was removed.

First and foremost, I have learned over the years of working as a slave in corporate that when I got my chance, I would never sell out. I see people on TikTok making “Mystery Eggs”, which consist of 12 inch dragons, and an egg that they go in. Basically, their house does nothing but print both of those items. Sure, it’s a money maker, or a money grab, but they will burn out and hate their life after a while.

I vowed to never go that route. I like being creative and I like seeing smiles on my customers faces when they see our wonderful inventory. I truly live by this motto that if a corporation came to me to make ABS car parts in bulk for them and basically take over my farm, it wouldn’t matter how much they paid me, I’d say no.

The OG of this post is not exactly swift. The reason we are all talking about other things is because the title says they are either lying or they bought a 2nd hand printer that someone ripped them off for because no one has every paid $3k for these printers. Aside from that, they turned off their 2.4 wifi and they are yelling at Bambu Labs because of their technical inferiority. They didn’t do the non-technical person smartest option and just contact support.

If they hadn’t been so trashing about everything, not realizing they are projecting their own naivety, more would have offered help.

So basically, their fault.

I don’t agree. The PrusaXL has many, many issues from what I’ve heard. The Bambu Lab’s printers aren’t perfect, but usually the main problems are first layer adhesion with odd filaments, or you need a brim that you didn’t use. Otherwise, for a production type environment, the PrusaXL is total overkill for most. Sure, it’d be nice to have one of them, but that only appeals to the household 3d junkie or a business that might need to print a large custom print.

I agree, the PrusaXL is faster because there is no poop shoot time delay, but I think for the price, network ability, accuracy and built-in profiles that actually work great, you can’t go wrong with an X1C, no matter who you are. Plus, it is smaller, but big enough that you can fit many if you do what I do and run a business.

Innovation is the name of the game. Others will improve on Bambu Lab’s iPhone-esque invention, but Bambu seems like they have thought long and hard about expansion. I’d put my $$ in them to last out the competition. Creality is on its way out, only to serve the lower income market because they can’t make good printers. I love my Ender5 pro’s just because they got me into the market, but even with their newest Bambu competing printer K1, it is still plagued with using another slicer and having quality issues. I never have quality issues with my Bambu and that is what counts. It’s reliable and it does the job right, every time. That goes a long way when you have them running 24/7.

Agree - You can make $2000-3000 a weekend by selling a beautiful sausage, as long as you can put a smile on your customers’ faces…

Thumbs up for a long time regarding the comment from “freeformz” in regards on XL - I never said somthing about XL in this post…

If I was given a dollar every time Hank edited a post on this forum I would be a pretty rich person… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I guess I hit reply on the wrong post. My bad my friend.

Seriously? You spent $3000 on something that’s$1600 from the manufacturer? Sucka!

Like this?

Probably not, just the regular price with a large amount of filament and spare parts, which don’t actually elevate a $1500 printer to a $3000 printer.

Then everything is clear  :+1:

Was a bit confused because I’m currently focus at the FlashFrog industrial line with dual extruder because of there extremely serious appearance at Formnext2023, the Croma PAD and the multicolor system announced by Criality for private use (seem to have learned something and want to do it right first). The last two are just in case the X1C gives up…
