Worth mentioning also is that having a constellation of different printers can save your bacon, because with that comes redundancy, and you can keep rockin even if one or more of your printers have to go offline while you wait for parts. Even two or three years ago this would have sounded like an impractical luxury to a lot of people, but over the last year 3D printer prices have crashed to such an extent that now this is easily achieved by probably almost anyone. Nowadays the limitation isn’t money so much as it is space to put it all. And the real upside is that those printers don’t have to sit idle, they can be used to drastically improve your throughput by parallel printing.
