Speculation about new printer announcements

@SupportAssistant please announce a new printer soon… X1 size with 2 nozzles!

That’s not really how it works.

I understand the hint, but whether it helps or whether it even makes sense??? These are things for some, the mass market is gone…

The H2D is the improved X1C or not? Any development of the X1C has been postponed to the H2D or have I misunderstood something?

If they want to improve the X1C even in the slightest way, they should say so damn quickly! For me, the X1C - as much as i Love it is just gone. (that’s how it was communicated or have I missed something,@bambulab please correct me if I get it wrong

For the X1C, you’ll currently get a maximum of 650 USD from me. If I even consider it. I wouldn’t even consider the P1S/P1P, even at $400 since the P1`s were never in my fokus.

Printers with even the slightest demand have a one-to-two-month waiting period. New YouTubers with 500,000 subscribers appear out of nowhere. Here’s an example (don’t want to discuss the content now but he has viewers):

The next Bambulab might cost another 500 USD more, because they may have to ship another 100 printers to even more Reviewers

The “honest reviews” on Amazon are the ones I ignore. Why would any legitimate person ever use that phrase? Normal people do not feel compelled to label their reviews as “honest”.

We got lasers, but just imagine… we could have had this.

Now that H2D is released lets speculate about when the X1 will be updated to quick swap hot ends and chamber heater. I think they will push it down market a bit with plastic panels instead of aluminum and get rid of P1s completely now that they have A1 to cover the budget category. Also lots of competition out there and a black and white screen with bad interface will no longer cut it.

And it will probably have a cutter attachment and a fully redesigned toolhead.

If and i don`t think so they ever will, my incomplete to do list for an X1C:

Make the door opening 180°, reduce costs, use plasticdoors (no longer having to worry about glass breaking), remove the carbon rods (as I said reduce costs massively to market-based prices), rework the entire print head (so that you can quickly change an extruder drive, circuit boards, Guide rod bearings), increase accessibility to the pressure sensors on the heated bed, add an AMS racer, perhaps even with storage space (do I have to call the Chinese laser cutters from Europe to get a Chinese laser steel cut for a AMS ricers?! So someone still can take it`s leisure time on the beach), Unlocks TPU again so that e.g. TPU 50D can be used againand so on and so on, No more software blockages, no more blocked applications in upgrades, make Z-spindles easier to clean (no longer hidden at the back, thicker rods)… but I really think it’s too late to end it. On the end it will be like with Prisa mini - the printing time will be accelerated overnight because there is no other choice.

Implemented after 2 years = 0% / Business development and personnel management models based on a communist state experience?

As I said, it’s not product designers who subsequently end their products, but startup founders who had one out of 100 products. In Switzerland, only 10% of start-ups survive, no matter how well they started.

I agree with most of this besides the plastic doors part, they make printers feel cheap and they are much easier ti damage.

Then sell with plastic doors and offer the upgrade to glass doors, or vice versa. I personally don’t like the glass doors at all. Every time I put the glass cover away, I have to be so careful.

Managers rarely have their own opinion, only the opinion of most customers. Many people think they are deciding but that’s not true – they even lose their own opinion. If their employees don’t quickly start to handle “normal” business completely independently of customer wishes after the successful introduction, they normal will be gone quickly (or they just get the customers they listened to), the others leave.

The text was adjusted again after the first answer - the more difficult statements came afterwards without me noticing the first answer.

Hank it looks like you should start your own printer company:D

what you are looking for is printers tailored made to your specifications, and that is not Bambu, but the good news is that there are options for you, either go for a Voron or a RatRig, and configure to your liking

@h3li0

100% Agree, there is absolute no reason to give any upgrade recomendation or to add. a dual extruder to an X1C - acept to the point that i should onec more build onec more another company or the printers you recomend, im abolutly agree  Except that other companies will not only read, not only catch up, but overtake.

It’s okay to write down my impressions here, but I don’t even fly business class to China via Hong Kong with a stopover in the four seasons to China anymore… I like the Kuulung side with a view of the Hong Kong side a bit more anyway. The longest wait for a China visa: 3 hours with an express flight booking, and an hour longer with a taxi waiting at the Chinese consulate on the way to the airport.

The good thing about me is that if people think I’m a joke, I don’t even have to care… Have a nice Life

sorry man, but i’m having a difficult time following, what does your travel preferences have to do with anything?

i’m sure there will be more printers from bambu, but they have only just released the new one, most people haven’t even received it yet lol

there are some people saying that bambu is dropping the ball and it will fail, but the reality is, they are solid machines, and they sell out fast… it might not be for everyone and that is fine, that’s why competition exists, and yes brands will continue to chase bambu, and that is great for us, it means more competition and better printers all around

Of copurse you never ever will see the connection between buissnestravels to China to imprufe Productionsides and Chinese Production releases. You will also never see a connection between 3D printers and their market launch in the US or Europe.

It’s absolutely normal that you never ever will get it. So don`t worry, there is nothing wrong with you. have a nice life and do god  Bye…

And you can be sure of one thing: when things get so out of hand that I have to clean up, usually only a few people like me. But the persons how like me are the persons how will pay the flight.

I am sure a new smaller printer will come out soon! And in some days is the RAPID+TCT 2025… I am sure BambuLab will give more insight on what we can expect!! Maybe they surprise us - mark my words ;)!!

I was talking to Biqu / BigTreeTech about a hinge for the P series 180 degree out of it cuz i’ve always been worried about bumping in to the door and snapping it off and I believe its in development. I told em to call it the Panda Pivot. We’ll see if they use the name =P

If BL would bring out a printer like the Snapmaker J1s… I would get it…

Snapmaker J1s - not too big… 2 nozzles (even separate) and affordable!!

I don’t think they’ve dropped the ball at all. I feel like the people that think they failed or dropped the ball, they were just never going to be happy. The machine some people described that they wanted, I just never thought it was going to be a reality, for any number of reasons.

It’s a dual extruder machine, it’s bigger, but still fits on my reasonably sized workbench. The AMS improvements are exactly what I wanted from an improved AMS. It’s freakin’ awesome. I’ve been waiting for this machine for longer than the X1C existed.

I’ve always looked at those Ultimaker machines. It was frustrating because by the time I got to a point in life where I could afford them, they brought out new models and doubled and tripled the prices.

I’ve tried to build several dual nozzle machines over the years, through a couple different methods. It’s been imperfect and difficult though.

Whatever. I’m really enjoying my H2D, personally.
