Well, I don’t know if I’m really going into the prosumer prices, let’s see what happens with the X1C prices. But at least I know that the new washing machine will definitely come before the new printer - so I really have to wait to see what’s going on and how it works under real conditions.
Yeah, I agree. I’ll be definitely waiting several months before deciding on whether to get one or not, to find out (from reviews, comments, comparisons) how good, how reliable it is, and whether the price is justified or not. No rush.

Why waste money on a washing machine? Get the printer first, then print the parts you need to repair your existing washing machine. Ka-ching! Your new printer will have just paid for itself.
Besides, if you can repair a 3D printer, repairing a washing machine is probably a piece of cake by comparison.

No seriously - can handle both, but if it’s in the first quarter of 2025, then it will probably be the end of the first quarter rather than the beginning. Then you have to wait another 5 months for the first reports. That will be mid-2025 to the 3rd quarter for the printer.

Yeah, I was going to say buy the printer and print a bunch of TPU clothes. Then you can just rinse them off in the sink, problem solved. Wait, did Stratasys copyright TPU pants??
Actually, they did try that, but to their total sorrow, the pants were already taken, so all they could do was to copyright the TPU ■■■■■■■, and even then they couldn’t copyright the whole…‘package’ ; The US Patent Office permitted them only to copyleft (no copyright allowed) what are called the "G-string " ■■■■■■■ (G-code… G-string… get it?

Apparently Bambu Lab have announced the rumoured next printer will be delayed until early 2025.
It will be the new flagship with a “new innovative feature”.
And thus, priced accordingly…
Above the X1 series, so yeah, pricey.
If the innovation is in tool changers though, the extra cost could be worth it in return for much faster multicoloured prints with far less waste.
True, but then one could consider waiting for a bit to see whether the user reviews prove the printer’s worth the price. The wait might be a good idea to see if there’s a drop in price on a medium to long-term period (12+ months). If the new printer delivers on all relevant check boxes, even if there’s no price drop, it would allow for the most likely patching and updates that will usually follow (as we’ve already seen with the first BL gen). My 2 (euro)cents.
Which is why I’m giving myself 12 months waiting period, to assess whether it’s worth my money or to just stay with what i already have.
I was (still am) curious myself, as I’ve noted that there are no K2 reviews from users. Anyone has seen any? If you did, please share with us.

Of course, it certainly won’t be cheaper than the X1C - but we’ll see where it ends up and where the X1C ends up. Bambulab has to move forward. It’s already miracle that they’ve had the time so far…
And if that goes again in the direction of multi color and not multi material a special TPU, then we are may not among the semi-pro users, or may I get many interessts here complitly wrong 
Cheap color change, the A1 would probably be recommended So with me you can forget about more money for less material loss, then we’re talking sone about 800 USD less than the current X1C rather than just one euro more…
And if they only do half the story as usual, you just wait 6 months and then the first ones that are cheaper come along and this one will for sure give some pressure on the X1 pricing.
Well, Figure Feedback was at least the first YouTuber doing the first review of the M5 non pro version. Wasn’t it his first non-resent printer? Did he already get the benefits of non encloserd printers?

Once the unknown arrives it becomes known, at that point professional reviews start and then user reviews, hopefully truly objective ones in each case.
