Now, if I translate it back and forth with Google Translate:
Prosumers are consumers who are also producers, or producers who also act as consumers.
cutting-edge / Peak performance, innovative and up to date.

LOL, Hank. You donāt need googeling for it (though it makes it simpler).
Go for dictionaries online:

Thanks drakko The german word is āProsumentā well, and the german word is in the dictionary right next to my screen
⦠If Google had translated it correctly
Well, I donāt know if Iām really going into the prosumer prices, letās see what happens with the X1C prices. But at least I know that the new washing machine will definitely come before the new printer - so I really have to wait to see whatās going on and how it works under real conditions.
Yeah, I agree. Iāll be definitely waiting several months before deciding on whether to get one or not, to find out (from reviews, comments, comparisons) how good, how reliable it is, and whether the price is justified or not. No rush.
Lol @ info to determine if I will wait.
Who am I kidding, if I see something before then I want, Iāll get it. When itās released, if I want it, I still get it.
Why waste money on a washing machine? Get the printer first, then print the parts you need to repair your existing washing machine. Ka-ching! Your new printer will have just paid for itself.
Besides, if you can repair a 3D printer, repairing a washing machine is probably a piece of cake by comparison.
And hereās the āproofā of Hank being indubitably a āprosumerā
Wait until Hank realizes that he can just print clothing Although,⦠we may need an emergency design contest contest first
You don`t really think that I can decide this on my own - I donāt have suicidal thoughts
No seriously - can handle both, but if itās in the first quarter of 2025, then it will probably be the end of the first quarter rather than the beginning. Then you have to wait another 5 months for the first reports. That will be mid-2025 to the 3rd quarter for the printer.
Until I realize that you can print clothes? Iām already a master in printing strings
Yeah, I was going to say buy the printer and print a bunch of TPU clothes. Then you can just rinse them off in the sink, problem solved. Wait, did Stratasys copyright TPU pants??
Actually, they did try that, but to their total sorrow, the pants were already taken, so all they could do was to copyright the TPU panties, and even then they couldnāt copyright the wholeā¦āpackageā ; The US Patent Office permitted them only to copyleft (no copyright allowed) what are called the "G-string " panties (G-code⦠G-string⦠get it? )
⦠and G-string tear⦠definitely
Apparently Bambu Lab have announced the rumoured next printer will be delayed until early 2025.
It will be the new flagship with a ānew innovative featureā.
And thus, priced accordinglyā¦
Above the X1 series, so yeah, pricey.
If the innovation is in tool changers though, the extra cost could be worth it in return for much faster multicoloured prints with far less waste.
True, but then one could consider waiting for a bit to see whether the user reviews prove the printerās worth the price. The wait might be a good idea to see if thereās a drop in price on a medium to long-term period (12+ months). If the new printer delivers on all relevant check boxes, even if thereās no price drop, it would allow for the most likely patching and updates that will usually follow (as weāve already seen with the first BL gen). My 2 (euro)cents.
Which is why Iām giving myself 12 months waiting period, to assess whether itās worth my money or to just stay with what i already have.
I was (still am) curious myself, as Iāve noted that there are no K2 reviews from users. Anyone has seen any? If you did, please share with us.
First thanks to confierm it once more here.
Of course, it certainly wonāt be cheaper than the X1C - but weāll see where it ends up and where the X1C ends up. Bambulab has to move forward. Itās already miracle that theyāve had the time so farā¦
And if that goes again in the direction of multi color and not multi material a special TPU, then we are may not among the semi-pro users, or may I get many interessts here complitly wrong Cheap color change, the A1 would probably be recommended
So with me you can forget about more money for less material loss, then weāre talking sone about 800 USD less than the current X1C rather than just one euro moreā¦
And if they only do half the story as usual, you just wait 6 months and then the first ones that are cheaper come along and this one will for sure give some pressure on the X1 pricing.
Well, Figure Feedback was at least the first YouTuber doing the first review of the M5 non pro version. Wasnāt it his first non-resent printer? Did he already get the benefits of non encloserd printers?
As a wise man often says (me)ā¦
You donāt know until you know
Everything here is guesswork.
Once the unknown arrives it becomes known, at that point professional reviews start and then user reviews, hopefully truly objective ones in each case.
