Strange noise during circular movement

Hi everyone,

Could you tell me anything about where these noises are coming from? They only occur when the print head moves in a specific circular direction. I’ve attached the following video: https://youtube.com/shorts/hB_rBtkB1Ao?feature=share

Thanks a lot,
Frank

try to read this topic thoroughly:https://forum.bambulab.com/t/x1c-grinding-weird-noise-when-printing-circular-pattern/3550.
I think you will find a solution for yourself here.

Thanks for the tip. What I don’t understand is why it only makes such terrible noises in one direction. It drives in a circle, both clockwise and counter-clockwise, and it only makes the noise when going counter-clockwise.

Well, if you read the topic carefully, you will find that there are practically two options that you need to try:

  1. Lubricate the linear rods for the Y axis and try printing to see if there is a change. If nothing changes, then try the second tip.
  2. Try slicing the file =.step instead of =.stl, increase the resolution, slicing and try printing again and see if there is an improvement.
Personally, I would try the first option first
