Studio shows still printing but X1-Carbon is finished

Studio v1.7.3.50 shows done (100% complete) while my X1-Carbon is completed printing the file. When I select HOME, then NEW PROJECT in Studio and load a new file to print a new part, I then click SLICE PLATE, then click on slice, then when I click the Print Plate button and it says it sent to printer but just sits there and never prints. I wait for a few minutes but still the printer doesn’t start printing. I then restart Studio and sometime even restart the X1-Carbon. I have noticed after some print jobs are done I try and print another file from Studio and I get the message that the Printer is busy…
Any help would be appreciated.

Has this been happening for a while or did it start sometime in the last day or so? There appear to be network issues today. See the following posts. I just now started a print by selecting the drop down next to where it normally says “print plate” and choosing “export plate sliced file” which saves it as a 3MF file. Then copy that to a SD card and plug it into the printer. This was because in the slicer, I can go all the way up to send on the popup but it does not get to the printer.

It’s been happening for about a week or so. It’s got to be something in their cloud/network as if I print the same file directly from the printer it works fine.

I got stuck this week, but I didn’t receive any message.
In my case, the process of forwarding the instruction to the printer worked as usual, but when I was forwarded to the device tab, nothing happened. The printer ignored it.

In my case, it was solved by changing the plate name to a simpler one. I don’t remember if I closed all Studio instances and restarted it.
