Studio won't conect to printer

i can not get bambu studio to send a print to printer. It says can not find printer and sends me wikki. I have good wi-fi, can print from my phone with no problem. My printer is an A1 and works great. I could print from studio at first for about 3 prints then not. I have had the printer for about 3 weeks. Gary[date=2024-09-08 timezone=“America/Phoenix”]

Obviously, the problem concern your computer : did you check the firewall ?

I have not the A1 but the X1C and the same problem.
I found out, that my VPN is the issue. When I want to send something from the computer to the printer, I have to switch off the VPN. After the file is on the printer, I can switch it on again. And then I have no issue at all. The studio shows the progress of the printing, I can switch on the camera and watch the progress, turn on/off light, ventilation and receive message from the printer.
It is only an issue, when I first want to connect to the printer and send the file to it.

I use an A1 Mini and it wont connect to Bambu Studio either… no idea why that is the case right now. It used to work 5 mins ago…

There is something going on with the cloud, my printers are not even coming up.

MakerWorld site is getting problems too.
It looks like servers problem.

It says its under maintenance. I want to print and not have to rely on their cloud. It’s really good that everything is easy and uncomplicated via the Internet, but simply starting maintenance work without providing any information beforehand is a bit annoying.

I couldn’t print (got error -3010) so i restarted Bambu studio (mac). My printer is forgotten and the program closes after 5 to 10 seconds. I think there still are some problems

Ah yes of course, their computer which is responsible for the worldwide Bambu cloud service of all users. :man_facepalming:

Yes, getting the same problem - all printers gone and not able to connect!

I can’t understand how they can write that everything is working when in fact nothing is working! Hey Bmbu guys… do you make some test before sentencing ? :upside_down_face:

Woke up this morning and my X1C won’t connect to WiFi. Must be a Bambu issue.

Scary how something their end can stop my local connection working…

I guess because every print gets uploaded to the cloud on your device and downloaded by your printer.

They should really have a fall-back mode when it’s their cloud at fault

News flash! They are not. … at all!
What use is this status page if it is not providing the current status!?

Bambu Accounts has partial outage, maybe this service is needed to connect your printer to your account. I don’t know but different services can cause these issues
