Hence the reason we’re betting on the i10 instead-- to get a lower RH
With an apparent 25% RH floor, it shouldn’t be too hard to put filament inside that’s drier than that. If they are weighing their filament to see how it’s doing they could see it pick up water weight.
I doubt it’s backwards but what drives water movement is RH differences and the higher the humidity in the cabinet the more likely the water may indeed flow backwards into the filament. Should go the right direction with sufficiently wet filament.
In light of the Sunlu using sieves and hitting 10-11% RH verified/agreed with by the loggers, I really wonder why it can’t do better than 25%. Maybe it’s regeneration temperature, timing strategy, leaks, contaminated sieves, who knows? But something is not optimal there. Maybe it can be fixed or maybe that’s just the floor. Hard to know.
The little information I saw had me thinking it was a similar sieve dehydrator but I won’t swear that’s what it is.
