Bambu refill spools- filament getting stuck

Greeting Quick one here as it relates to all versions of the AMS, it’s printer independent. I’ve been able to reproduce this error with the last 10+ spools of refill and it’s happening regardless of the filament type. Does not impact the rear spool holder. Refill spool placed correctly on the notch, two halves seated properly. Poorly wound filament

I have a brand new roll of standard gray Bambu PLA that I put onto the Bambu two-piece reusable spool. Half way through a 5 hour print (from the AMS), the filament hit a tangle in the spool and the motor pulled it with enough force that it separated the spool and sprung the filament out of the sides. Regretting a bulk buy of PLA Basic refills

I bought 20 rolls of black PLA basic for prototyping during the BF sale and I’m just getting around to using it, installed it into Bambu spools and removed the straps after as instructed, and the first three have caused the AMS to hang up at least 10 times per spool due to either a cross-tangle or the filament being stuck tightly down the side against the spool and the AMS not being able to pull it out.
