I have 9 AMS, well over 200 unique filament type and colour combinations open and in use.
Tips for me?

It sounds like you need 41 more AMS’s!
So I don’t know if there are enough types of filaments in the world to fit into 50 AMS
Erm, yeah.
This 206 and this doesn’t include any PC, reinforced, support or exotic filaments.
This is only one brand.
I have almost everyone in the attached screenshots, many of the others I didn’t include and over 50 of non-Bambu Lab branded.
This excludes the spares, which even I have to admit is more of a compulsion than a necessity.
You have enough inventory to open a filament store.
Yesssss. I can’t wait to go shopping at Malc’s Filament Emporium!
Before getting back into 3D printing, I gave away well over 100 filaments and two printers because my tremors meant I couldn’t use them.
I bought an A1 mini a year later and given the price and the promise of four colours and found I could use it with tremors.
That was my first of many Bambu Lab printers and obvious filament addiction.
You should see the spares and MakerSupply gear I have. Don’t get me started on my magnet obsession, I think I have over 3,000 magnets of various sizes and shapes,
Has anyone with both the P2S and P1S experience any differences with the carbonfiber rod vs the steel rod?
im pretty sure they work the same.
You are significantly more organised than I am. I keep all magnets in one drawer, all keychains in another. All screws are in yet another, everything else is in different drawers loosely grouped or one of several boxes.
I need to organise.
this is my one organised drawer, everything else is half-finished Gridfinity haha
Right now? Price and availability in the U.S. $750 for my X1C some weeks ago, knowing that it’s a proven machine with a good track record, and immediate availability, convinced me.
Guys, P2W 3D printer sponsored by EA science when!?!??!?!?!?!?!??!?
(/j please don’t take seriously)
WHEN WILL IT BE AVAILIABLE IN AMERICAAAa
I’d like to remind anyone considering entering the Bambu ecosystem - or expanding their ownership footprint - that Bambu has been quietly eroding customer ownership rights. If that doesn’t concern you, that’s your choice. But for those who see their printer as an investment of time, effort, and money, it should matter.
Take note of Bambu’s recent actions. I don’t want to take this thread off topic, so I’ve started a separate discussion here:
Are you trying to walk back Isaac Newton’s Second Law of Motion, which states that Acceleration = Force / Mass? A more powerful drivetrain (and stronger frame) lets you retain the same acceleration with higher mass. I’d rather use the drivetrain improvements to increase the acceleration rather than just push around more mass.
What did you think the carbon rods were for if not lower mass?
Nope, but cute try. I suspect that Bambu swapped over to steel for cost-cutting and/or marketing reasons. Look at images on the P2S page and you will see matte, graphite-colored rods:
When you’re looking at introducing a printer from China under the current U.S. tariff structure, I suspect that carbon rods might have been a luxury that just could no longer be justified.
This isn’t new, this has always been the case with every printer they have shipped if you need to replace the AP board.
I apologize, I should have said “fanperson”.
